The Highlanders are a special group of Deities. According to ancient text, they were the ones who revived and recruited Sieghart. They also formulated an organization called the Prime Knights, who are specialized in not only battle, but who can channel power to rival the Deities.
All Highlanders except Sieghart were exterminated by Baldinar during Kounat's destruction. Many Highlanders, including their leader Graham, were resurrected as relics with pieces of their former personalities trapped inside their armor in Kounat's Collapse. The blood and spirits of the deceased Highlanders also inadvertently created Uno.
Graham was the leader of the Highlanders and Sieghart's friend. He perished during Kounat's destruction but was resurrected in the dungeon Kounat's Collapse, his consciousness trapped within the relics of his armor, and forced to fight the Chase.
Sieghart is a warrior from Kanavan. History archives of him takes place about 600 years ago, including specific stories such as staving off a hundred Goblins. When he went into an unknown ruin, it was said that a demon attacked him, and when a year had passed upon this time, he was believed to be dead. Before he lost his life, the Highlanders ressurected him and trained him for centuries until he came back to Kanavan. It is revealed that he has a great granddaughter named Elesis.
Uno, while technically not a part of the Highlanders, was born from the blood and spirits of the fallen organization.
- The source of a Highlander's immortality is a sphere that contains their soul which can be destroyed, thus ending their life.
- The Highlanders are a reference to the 1986 film Highlander. The film depict immortal warriors fighting to the death for centuries, and the film's tagline, "There can be only one", describes Sieghart's affliation to the in-universe Highlanders accurately.
- There are also armor sets modeled after Highlanders.
