In this world, there is a place called the Underworld where dead souls go, unlike the physical world of the living. It is a world where wicked souls are confined in prisons, left to repent their sins, and where good souls spend their time, waiting for their turn at reincarnation.
However, some enjoy the Flames of souls and collect them before they can reach the Underworld. Turmeric is a soul Flame collector, who collects the souls of those he kills. He has always been the target of Bounty Hunters, but he is no match for clumsy Bounty Hunters.
Sometimes they were blue... and sometimes the souls would burn red. It didn't matter whether the souls belonged to someone good or bad, Turmeric loved them all the same. He is only interested in the color of the soul.
Do not forget. Losing to him in battle means that your soul will forever be locked in a prison.

Trivia
- Turmeric's character portrait is based on his final stage evolution, Spirit Flame.
- Turmeric is named after the eponymous Indian flowering plant of the ginger family, the pulverized aromatic rhizomes of which are used for flavoring in cooking.
- Despite being one of the demons that guarded Teroka, Turmeric supposedly had no affiliations with anyone according to his Hero profile.
