Description[]
As the influence of the continental war extended to Eryuell Island, located at the southern tip of Bermesiah, the number of enemies the elves had to face increased. The elves' common bows, which fires one shot at a time, are difficult to deal with quickly against many enemies, so the Elders of Eryuell Island granted permission to use crossbows that have been refrained from use because of their stronger power.
Crossbows are special weapons that can be easily carried and fired rapidly, and can only be used by elves who have undergone special training.
Crossbowmen use dual crossbows to rapidly fire multiple shots, and can move extremely fast. They can jump to great heights depending on the player's skill, and can use visually breathtaking special abilities such as Fan Shot, Dive Bombing, and Beat Rush.

It is necessary to be Lv.20 to be able to participate in the 2nd Job Promotion.

Part 1[]
- Run the Marsh of Oblivion once. Even if you do not successfully pass the dungeon, you will still complete the mission.
- Entering the dungeon and leaving immediately does not count as "running". It only counts if the dungeon is completed or failed.

- Slay 8 Zombie Stone Orcs in the Forsaken Barrows.
Part 3[]
- Slay the Paradom in Forgotten City and collect 3 Crossbowman's Orb.

- Slay 100 monsters within the range of ± 2 above or below level monsters.

Basic Movements[]
TIP: Unlike Lire's other jobs, the projectiles from Crossbowman do not stun and therefore neither invoke Arrow Defense nor Berserk. However, they travel a fairly short distance as opposed to soaring across the entire field.

- Crossbowman is known as Marksman or Huntress on the other servers.
- Crossbowman is Lire's only job that drifts away from using the standard variation of a bow.
- Crossbowman is Lire's only job who has limited firing range and different aim control compared to her other jobs.
- In the Season 3 Revamp, Crossbowman's grab consisted of her instantly flipping her opponent and then stomping on them in just 2 seconds, which is under the usual grab animation length, allowing her to move as her foe attempts to recover, only to fall again. The grab was later reanimated, rebalanced, and extended, preventing her from moving early and severely delaying the opponent.
- Before the Season 3 Revamp, Crossbowman's 2nd-grade skill was also named Dance Tempest and which consisted of her firing numerous bolts in all directions while performing a specific movement.
- Before the Season 3 Revamp, Crossbowman's 3rd-grade skill was also named Harpy Hunt Shot and which consisted of her diving backwards while releasing numerous bolts into the sky in which a Harpy will fall in front of the Crossbowman before she moved which deals massive damage on impact.
- In ELSWORD, the character Rena has a skill called Fatality whose animation was based on the Crossbowman's Beat Rush.
